Weather of Singapore in October

The southeast location of Singapore plays a vital role in determining its weather, which is hot and humid. It is located just one degree north of the equator and hence has a subtropical climate, i.e., it doesn’t have clear cut or distinct seasons, like summer, winter, autumn, and spring. The weather is warm and humid all year round and rainfall is a routine phenomenon. Although there are no distinct dry or wet seasons, the island does have two monsoon seasons – northeast monsoon season (December-March) and Southwest monsoon season (June-September). October lies during pre-northeast monsoon season and thus has hot and humid afternoons which are cooled by evening sea breezes often followed by storms.
