Taking a cruise to the Caribbean is a great option for those looking to get some much needed rest and relaxation. A trip around the Caribbean typically means that you will be visiting some or all of the islands located in the Caribbean Sea. Typically people will choose to go on a Caribbean Cruise during the spring and summer time as a way to keep cool in hot temperatures. Whether you decide to go in the Spring or in the Summertime, it is important that you pack correctly for this cruise. Since you will probably be taking this cruise during the warmer months of the year it is vitally important that you pack the correct clothes for your trip. Before packing it is good to know a little bit about the average weather conditions and climate of the Caribbean during the spring and summer time. During this time the average weather conditions can range between warm and rainy to humid and windy. The average highs of the Caribbean is around 21 degrees Celsius with lows of about 18 degrees Celsius.

Women: Caribbean Cruise

This is definitely swimsuit season! While on a cruise to the Caribbean you will want to break out your swimsuit and that sexy two piece bikini you have been hiding in your closet all year. You will notice that the weather is rather humid so if you do not feel comfortable in a full swimsuit, you can always wear a nice pair of short-shorts and a short sleeve T shirt. It would be best to leave all of your denim at home as the heat will make wearing these clothes very uncomfortable.

Men: Caribbean Cruise

For men dressing will be incredibly easy, simply bring a few changes of swim trunks if you plan on doing any swimming or aquatic activities. A great outfit idea would be a nice pair of comfortable cotton shorts and a simple short sleeve t shirt. If you want a bit of a change you could always wear a cargo shorts with a sleeveless shirt to keep yourself cool in the summer sun. Tanks tops are another great options as these will go great with just about any pair of shorts you wear.

Kids will want to dress very cooly in the heat of the Caribbean. Kids would do best to dress in comfortable materials like cotton. A nice pair of shorts for the boys and a nice one piece bathing suit for the girls should suffice. If you plan on doing any on shore sightseeing it would be wise to bring a few changes of T shirts for the kids. For girls a nice skirt or capri pants works well in keeping them cool while walking around.

There are a few accessories that you should bring with you on a trip to the Caribbean. While on the cruise you will want to have a hat or some sort of summer visor on. The bring rays of the sun can be blinding so it is important to have some protection for your eyes. Along with a nice hat, a cool pair of sunglasses looks great wherever you go. Shades are made in a variety of different styles and you are sure to find one that fits the whole family. Finally suntan lotion is a necessity as you do not want to spend too much time in the strong summer rays of the sun without any protection for your skin.
